BWVBushwalking Victoria (BWV) is the peak body for hiking activties in Victoria. BWV has over 60 affiliated member bushwalking and hiking clubs and many associated member organisations like the Alpenverein Melbourne. Via BWV our members can volunteer with the Bushwalking Tracks and Conservation Team (BTAC) or with the Bush Search and Rescue Team (BSAR). Collectively, BWV represent 8,000 members and 250,000 hikers  actively engaged in outdoor recreation.


climbing QTsClimbingQTs is an LGBTQIA+ friendly social club based in Birraranga (Melbourne, Australia) where climbers have the opportunity to mix and socialise. All levels are welcome from beginner to advanced and events range from monthly meet-ups, inclusive indoor climbing sessions and multi-day outdoor adventures. At the heart of ClimbingQTs values is creating an inclusive, diverse and empowering environment where LGBTQIA+ folk can be their true selves, learn new skills, participate in active social sport and connect with the outdoors. Together with the Alpine Club Melbourne, ClimbingQTs commits to a partnership that supports the Climbing Federation, the new peak body for climbing and mountain activities where together we can advocate with a stronger voice for climbers and backcountry lovers.


climbing QTsMountain Sports Collective (MSC) is a not-for-profit user group for backcountry snows sports in Australia. Founded by a crew who recognised that snow safety awareness in Australia could be improved, MSC brings together observations, information and training for the backcountry community – skiers, snowboarders and hikers alike.  With a network of observers, educational trips and events, and a team to act as an organised point for advocacy, MSC supports sustainable and safe backcountry use in Australia.
