Volunteering Opportunities

People volunteer for various reasons, such as contributing, improving or maintaining their health, seeking social interaction, enjoying themselves, embracing challenges, acquiring new skills, honing existing skills, enjoying nature, or simply giving it a try. We believe we can provide the perfect opportunity for anyone who joins us. So why not give us a chance and see for yourself?
We have several vacancies for volunteers to help us with new and exciting projects. These posts are a great way to become more involved with the club and meet fellow members. The time commitment is flexible and you’d be assured of lots of support as well as very warm welcome to our growing team of enthusiastic helpers.
UK Meets Coordinator
Would you like to volunteer to help the Activities Team encourage club leaders to organise meets in the UK, and keep track of them? As a job, it's flexible and not too time-consuming, and we can explain what to do.
Contact: Alex Gymer via the office at aac.office@aacuk.org.uk.

Volunteer recruitment for Activities Team Secretary of the AAC(UK)
After over three years in the role of Activities Team Secretary, I (Toto Gronlund) am reluctantly stepping down. It really has been great fun, and such a fab opportunity to meet people and get involved in all the Club’s activities.
The role involves arranging the team’s meetings, taking minutes, chasing up actions, liaising with the two co-chairs and the Office on day-to-day matters, and generally helping to co-ordinate the work of the team.
Please contact Toto in the first instance if you are interested and to find out more, ttckrgk
