UK and Ireland Meets
This programme of meets, mostly organised by members for members, provides an opportunity to take part in a wide variety of activities in the UK. Booking: Pre-registration is required. Please contact the Meet Organiser as listed on the event information.

September 26 - 30: Glencoe, Ballachulish, Scotland *FULL*
A pre Autumn Gathering meet for anyone wishing to extent their time in Scotland. Spaces are reserved at the Glencoe Youth Hostel, Ballachulish. Glencoe offers a great choice of walking, scrambling, cycling and climbing.

September 30 - October 5: Aviemore, Scotland
The Autumn Gathering, staying at Glenmore Lodge, National Outdoor Training Centre. A range of activities, walks, talks and training across four days. See the Autumn Gathering webpage.
Oct 10 - 16 : St Mary’s, Isles of Scilly
10 places reserved at the Longstone Lodge & Café, on the Isle of St Mary’s. Access by ferry from Penzance in Cornwall. Ferry links to each Isle, offering varied walks with beautiful coastal scenery, and a visit to the beautiful gardens on Tresco.

Nov 27 - 30 : Coniston, Lake District
15 places at MAM climbing hut Low House (£17 per night), plus further options in self-catering or B&B accommodation. Choice of 2 or 3 nights. An ideal opportunity to explore the Coniston Fells or other areas in the South Lakes. An evening meal is organised in a local pub or restaurant on the saturday night. Further information will be available in August 2026 when booking is available, so save the date.

Mar 8 - 12: Glencoe, Scotland
10 places reserved at the Rucksack Club hut at Ballachulish for winter hill walking and mountaineering. The Glencoe hills are nearby, and the Mamores and Nevis range within easy reach. Meet sheet and booking form to follow.

Apr 16 - 23 : Torridon, Scotland
Staying at the Mol Mor Bunkhouse. Walking/Mountaineering in the Torridon Mountains, there are several Munros and Corbets in the area. Good mountain biking, or coastal walks for those who want a more relaxed agenda. The mountains are wild and remote, so anyone venturing up them must be competent in mountain environments and suitably fit.

Following the success last year, the Spring Gathering returns, combining walks, talks, activities and training, for up to 50 members. Staying at Glenmore Lodge National Outdoor Centre.
