The AAC(UK) have been contacted by Sektion Klagenfurt, asking if some of our younger members would be interested in taking part in this English – German language exchange event happening August 27, 2023 - September 3, 2023.
It’s an opportunity for young English-speaking members aged 11-15 to learn German and explore the Alps, based in the Fürstenhütte, 1391m, in the mountains to the North of Klagenfurt, Carinthia (Kärnten), organized by ÖAV Sektion Klagenfurt.
The plan is that half
the participants will have English as their first language, and the other half
German. 2hours of interactive lessons
every morning will be followed by language exchange while taking part in
various outdoor activities during their ‘free time’.
See Sektion Klangenfurt's website for more information. For more information in English click here (see pages 8-14).
To apply for one of the
places reserved for members with English as their first language, please send
your contact details to Sektion Klagenfurt.
